Piping on the Whites is official release date

NAVY TIMES reported on 17 April that  “Men and women, E-6 and below, will be able to buy the service dress blues at the Navy Exchange in early 2016” although we will be able to buy them early 16 funding will not be available till fiscal year 2017.  That will probably be when we see the first batch of recruits with the new Crackerjacks.   So if you know anyone with planse to join around Oct 2016 tell them to hold off till after the 1 Oct.

This is the first uniform change I am excited about in a long time.  Giving the whites piping will really make them pop in my belief.  Now if we could bring back the Johnny Cash uniform I’ll be a happy camper.
